Shamrocks went down to a heavy defeat against Clondrohid in Shanbally on Sunday afternoon. Again, they were short a few regulars but the lads battled gamely until the end and cannot be faulted for effort, against a team who fancy their chance of going all the way this year.

Junior A Football League V Clon na nGael – 13/3

Clon na nGael 0-10, Shamrocks 1-1   Nothing seemed to go right for Shamrocks when they made the long trip to Drimoleague on Sunday afternoon last. The home side certainly were good footballers but Shamrocks had a frustrating afternoon all round – many wides were kicked while the home side were way more economical.
