The U15 Footballers have qualified for the finals of the Féile Football (Group 6) in Cork which will be held at the end of June. They topped their group in Bllygarvan on Monday afternoon. The scores were – Game 1: Shamrocks 5-3, Ballygarvan 1-2 Game 2 – Shamocks 4-2, Owen Gaels 2-4 Two contrasting games; they built up a handy lead against Ballygarvan early on and were deserved winners in the end The second game was much tougher indeed with both teams getting six scors each but the ability of the Shamrocks main men to link up and score vital goals at important times enabled them to go through as group winners The panel on the day were (in numerical order) – 1.
