A tough semi-final result for our Junior Footballers in Camden yesterday against a strong Carrigaline side – while we didn’t get the win, our lads showed incredible heart and character💚
We had a difficult start, falling behind 0-10 to 0-02 against the wind, but they battled and went into halftime with a score of 0-10 to 0-04.

Carrigaline’s crucial goal at the start of the second half made the hill steeper, but our guys never quit – they kept fighting, pulling it back to a two-point game in the final minutes. A late Carrigaline goal unfortunately sealed the win for them, with the final score finishing 2-13 to 2-08.

The massive positive is the never-say-die attitude of this young squad, with 10 players under 21 years old! Their effort and determination are a credit to the club and a great sign for the future💪🏼
