Result from JAHL tonight: Shamrocks 0-20, Valley Rovers 2-11

Another good win for Shamrocks in what’s been an excellent Hurling league so far this season. This was a very competitive game, Shamrocks hurled well in the first half playing against the slight breeze. Despite conceding what was a well worked Valleys goal just before the break, Shamrocks went into halftime with a 3 point lead, on a score-line of 0-12 to 1-06

The second half was low scoring with some tough exchanges. Shamrocks were in a good position, 7 points ahead with 10 minutes to go, but then Valleys struck for another goal and a quick point to leave only 3 points between the teams. From here to the finish Valleys pushed hard but the Shamrocks backs were excellent, and we held out for a hard earned 3 point win🎉
