Played on Oiche Shamhna in ideal conditions in Bishopstown this was a victory to savor for Diarmuid Ó Murchús. It was a titanic battle right through the hour with O Murchus holding Inniscarra to one point in the first half scored on the 29th minute while slotting over 4 points from frees themselves.
Tactically it was a superb display from Ó Murchús who defended to a man while attacking at pace which the opposition could not live with. 4 points to 1 at half time O Murchu’s stretched it out to 6 with points from play from Cian Lynch, Oisin Buckley and David Herlihy and seven points from frees from Shay Murphy.
