A great effort from both Shamrocks & Ballinhassig Under 6s (and some 5s) who played a full hour of Hurling followed by Football in Shanbally on Friday evening.
For the Shamrocks players, it was their first EVER time playing a full game of Hurling and Football and we hope they have long careers in the Green of Shamrocks.
The original plan on Friday night was 3 short games of 10 minutes each but such was the enthusiasm of the players, that plan soon went out the window and they played well up to an hour of mostly hurling with a game of football at the end. All players were magnificent. Well done and thanks to all the coaches and there was great support on the bank from all ages!!!!
