Diarmuid Ó Murchus minor hurlers were beaten by Ballygarvan in the championship on Wednesday evening in Shanbally.
Ó Murchús led early on but that was the only time as Ballygarvan, leading 0-6 to 0-4 at halftime, pushed on in the second half scoring an early goal and they were comfortable from there until the end. Ó Murchús badly needed a goal to get back into it but couldnt manage one.
Thats three defeats from three now in the round robin section of the championship which means that the championship proper is now over.
