U16 HL V Tracton – 1/4

Tracton 2-15, Shamrocks 0-9

Shamrocks U16s hurlers travelled to Minane Bridge on Monday evening after giving up home advantage due to Shanbally being closed. Shamrocks, missing a few players due to injuries and players away along with players not starting after long layoffs, were up against it.

It was plain to see Tracton had a lot more work done on the hurling side of things than the Shamrocks lads, but they battled hard the whole game through. It has been a very tough start to the season, with training very limited due to the weather. Tracton winning out on a scoreline of 2-15 to 0-9. This, however, was a good workout for our lads, and hopefully, the weather picks up so they can get regular training in.
