Underage Table Quiz – March 22nd

Thanks to all who took part in our FUN Table Quiz on Friday night at the Shamrock Bar. The underage ran the event to help raise funds for the NAtional Schools Training Programme 2023/2024, the cost of which runs into 4 figures.

Fear a’ Tí for the eveing Brendan Barratt had everyone on their toes with the questions and there wwas a wide range of coirect and “incorrect” answers, lots of them from the bar!.

Thanks to the Shamrocks Bar and their staff for hosting, to Lisa who did a whole pile of work in the lead up to the night, to Dee and her daughter Hannah who came straight from the Academy to correct the answers, to our participants on the night and to our many sponsors and indeed members who donated spot prizes for the successful raffle.

A great night was had bay all and a dent was made into the schools coaching fee.

We are actively looking for sponsors to help us alleviate the cost of same in the schools year 2024/2025. Shamrocka as a club are putting the children of the parish who engage in Gaelic Games first and any help would be appreciated and welcome.
