JAHL V Belgooly – 24/3

Belgooly 2-17, Shamrocks 1-13

Shamrocks lost their first hurling league game of the season on Sunday. The pitch in Shanbally passed a pitch inspection but the conditions were heavy and damp all through. Belgooly led 2-10 to 0-8 at HT and held on in the second half.

Shamrocks were short a few. They gave away 2 soft goals in the first half but the managemnet were pleased with the workrate and the attitude especially in the second half. Andrew O’Grady, Seán Andrews, Nathan Hayes and Seanán Collins were best for Shamrocks on the day.
