Ballymarte 1-14, Shamrocks 0-7

Shamrocks hurling season came to an end in Minane Bridge on Saturday evening in a game played in horrendous conditions.

Apart from the first minute, Ballymartle led the whole way. Shamrocks lack of scoring power came back to haunt them as they struggled for scores, one point came from play.

Shamrocks did threaten a comeback with 20 minutes left when they came to within 3 points of Ballymartle at 0-10 to 0-7 but they didn’t score for the rest of the game while Ballymartle notched up 1-4 without reply.
