An important win for Ó Murchús that sets them up for a shot at reaching a final in this competition, with just one round of games to go.
This was a tough hard game played in wet conditions. Apart from an early Ballygarvan lead, Ó Murchús led all the way. They had built up a halftime lead of 1-8 to 0-4.
After halftime, they stretched the lead out to 1-14 t0 to 0-4 with 6 points on the trot before Ballygarvan got on the scoreboard with a point; however, Ó Murchús responded again with a flurry of 4 points in 6 minutes to effectively finish off the game.
