Blarney 3-7, Shamrocks 1-9
Shamrocks under 15s were beaten by a good Blarney team in tough conditions in the FC round robin game in Blarney on Monday evening. This was a good hard game of football that will stand to the Shamrocks lads against a team who were older than them. Shamrocks took the wrong options at times and overplayed the ball at times as well. However, the coahes are determined to work through these teething problems which are normal for teams at this age.
Shamrocks have plenty more games to play in this round robin, the next FC game is at home to Sliabh Rua in 2 weeks time.
