All good things must come to an end and there was an air of regret and satisfaction prevailing when the Ice Cream Van brought down the curtain on the 2023 Camp. Regret, because a most enjoyable and fulfilling week for all concerned was over.
Children and Parents alike were absorbed into the special atmosphere and excitement that takes place, with each passing hour offering something new and novel. Satisfaction because another year of Hurling and Football for 5 year olds to 13 year olds was so special, with friends and schoolmates enjoying new found out of doors freedom and the making of new friends too.
Lining up at the Ice Cream Van waiting to be served with a full blown 99 was as good as mounting the steps of the Hogan Stand for an All Ireland Medal.
The support from Parents was much appreciated by the Organising Committee, goodwill is a great phenomenon anywhere.
May all the Children and their families continue to enjoy the summer holidays,blessed with good health and happiness.
