Under 13 Ladies win football final with courage and style.
The Shamrock Under 13 Ladies Footballers recorded a magnificent win in the Mid Cork final versus Ballinhassig. The game was played at Manning Park in Passage last evening in front of a large Shamrock following. The two teams played outstanding football but Shamrocks’ skills, speed and will to win saw them take the trophy and title in great style.
Full credit to all the girls and their Mentors, they can surely take a bow. We are all very proud of their achievement. We had splendid joint Captains, in Aoibheann Behan and Molly Geary, both of whom led the team admirably at both ends of the pitch.
