What started out as an afternoon of potential for two teams in the club ended in bitter disappointment with championship 2 defeats,The Junior A football team were beaten by 1-12 to 1-5 by Ballymartle in Ballygarvan in what effectively was a quarter final game.They led by 1-4 to 0-4 at HT and looked in control but fell apart after the break, outscored 1-8 to 0-1 in the second in what was a very disappointed and disjointed display. They are now out of everything and will play no more games this year
