Ó Murchús 2-17, Aghada 2-13
A very exciting game of football went the way of Ó Murchús and this was significiant that DÓMs came out on the right side of a close game after a few near misses in the last few weeks.
Aghada started better and with an early goal on the board, they led midway through the first half at one point they were by up to 8 points, 2-6 to 0-4. But a strong second quarter from Ó Murchús with seven points followed by a goal had them in front by a point at halftime, 1-11 to 2-7
Ó Murchús got a vital goal 4 minutes into the second half to extend their lead to 4 points and despite Aghada reducing it again to a point with 6 minutes left, Ó Murchús stretched out again with a few late scores for a good win.
