Ó Murchús, resplendent in their new jerseys, got the better of Brian Dillons on Wednesday evening in Shanbally. They got on the scoreboard early with a goal from Ruairc Sisk (3-4 from play) and they built on that lead for the rest of the half and led 2-10 to 1-1 at HT.
They continued to pile on the scores in the second half and the result was never in doubt. They have now finished their scheduled league games, sit top of the table and must wait to see if they qualify for a semi or a final
John Herlihy did a fine job of refereeing the game after the appointed referee didnt attend.
