Lisa Cronin creates Shamrocks History

MS. LISA CRONIN ELECTED CHAIRPERSON OF THE SHAMROCK UNDER AGE CLUB

In Shamrocks long history, 125 years old this year, Lisa Cronin made her own bit of headlines in becoming the first lady to be elected to the position of a Chairperson in the Club. At the recent
meeting she was elected and will lead and move forward the Underage affairs.

Lisa and her family have been most prominent in Gaelic games and Shamrocks over the generations. She has in recent years been a very keen worker in a range of under age activities. Of course, she was a dual player in the Club having played Camogie and Ladies Football.

Her Grandfather the late Martin Kidney, was an outstanding hurler in his day winning two Dr. Harty Cup medals with North Mon and one of his team mates was Jack Lynch. Her brothers Donie, Martin and Michael excelled in the Shamrock colours. Her late father-in-law Raymond Sisk Played with Shamrocks, Carrigdhoun and Cork and lined out with Christy Ring.

She has a background full of Gaelic riches and no doubt they will enable and motivate her in leading the Shamrock Under Age Club to a prosperous future.

The very best of luck to Lisa

Our two new Chairpersons, Socket and Lisa
