Courcey Rovers 1-6, Shamrocks 0-8
The footballers made the long trip to Ballinspittle early on Sunday afternoon and a one point defeat was their lot for their efforts. Shamrocks played well with some good performances from Fionn Herlihy, Seán Andrews, Andrew O’Grady and Jason Browne. Shamrocks were ahead at halftime but the goal gave them momentum to get the win. The mentors were happy with the display and the committment so far has been good.
