Shamrocks 5-10, St Colmcilles 3-12
The u13 hurlers travelled to Carrignavar on Tuesday night to take on St Colmcilles for their first game of the second half of the season. Shamrocks led 4-6 to 0-6 at half time.
Colmcilles (Whitescross and Carraig na bhFear) came back strong at the beginning of the second half scoring 2 quick goals and a couple of points. Shamrocks lead was down to 3 at the water break. A goal for each team in the last 1/4 made for a exciting finish. With some super never say die defensive work at the back. Shamrocks held on for a 4 point win on scoreline of 5-10 to 3-12.
