Courcey Rovers 5-8, Shamrocks 0-3
Courcey Rovers got the better of Shamrocks under the summer sun in Ballinspittle on Sunday afternoon. Shamrocks were down a good few players on the day and fielded a very young team. They started well enough but didnt score as much as they needed with the slight breeze and Courcey Rovers started to dominate around midfield and feed their runners who did damage especially in the second half where they took over completely. The Shamrocks lads battled on bravely to the end and can be proud of their efforts standing up to a strong Courcey Rovers team.
