Tracton 7-17, Shamrocks 3-6
Shamrocks first game of the season ended in a big victory for Tracton at a sunsplashed Minane Bridge on Saturday afternoon. Tracton have improved a lot since the previous year while Shamrocks havent at the same rate and that comes down to one thing – practice. Tracton had too much hurling for a game Shamrocks team and after a close enough opening 15 minutes which featured some great scores, they hit Shamrocks for 3 quick goals before HT and that was that, the heads went. HT 4-8 to 1-5
The second half was just played out as expected with Tracton dominating, they tagged on a good few scores in a comfortable win. Shamrocks just battled away but didnt have anywhere near the scoring power to trouble the score. Lots of work ahead.
