Donoghmore 3-12, Ó Murchús 4-7
The lads gave it their all, especially in the final quarter but they came up just short in Donoughmore on a beautiful Autumn evening, perfect for football. It was a good hard game between evenly matched teams. After 3 early DÓM goals, Donoghmore pushed on after the first water break and led by 3-7 to 3-4 at HT.
A restructuring of the Ó Murchús team after the break seemed to give the team better shape but they found scores hard to come by. Entering the last 5 minutes, there was only 2 points between the team but try as they might, Ó Murchús couldnt get the all important scores. Thats the end of the season – thanks to all for their efforts.
