Yes that scoreline is correct. Ó Murchús outscored their opponents in Blackpool by 14 scores to 9 but still came out losers by 9 points. It was a similar story to a few games played earlier in the season – the majority of possession not being converted into scores and then being hit for a flurry of goals in a short space of time to knock the stuffing out of the challenge. Ó Murchús had comfortably beaten Nicks earlier on in the season but the reverse was the case here. A disappointing end to the season.
