Shamrocks 6-13, Tracton 1-3
Shamrocks welcomed Tracton on Monday evening on a beautiful evening. Shamrocks were on top throughout in the first quarter with scores from Ryan Roberts, Josh Bartlett, Seamus O’Mahony, Luke Jordan and Cian Lynch and this set the tone for the rest of the match. Shamrocks led 1-5 to 0-2 at the water break. A goal from Sam Foy with further points from Lynch, Jordan on top of some resolute defending from Nigel O’Sullivan-Kearney at full back and Kieran May at half back ensured Shamrocks were on top at halftime, 2-8 to 0-3.
By the third quarter water break, Shamrocks were totally dominant after Cian Lynch’s 1-2, Darra McCormicks, Josh Bartletts and Seamus O’Mahonys points. In the last quarter, Seamus bagged two goals with Lynch and David Herlihy ading further points, Shamrocks ran out easy winners.
