Shamrocks 5-11, Tracton 2-3
We played Tracton in Minane Bridge on Bank Holiday Monday in the U14 football shield semi final, Playing against a very strong wind in the opening half we played some lovely running football and adapted to the elements quickly. We soon had some scores on the board to reflect our dominance in the opening half. Early in the second period we made some switches to allow all our players get valuable game time. Tracton to their credit upped their performance and they made sure that we didn’t enjoy the same amount of possession that we had in the first half. We ran out comfortable winners at the final whistle.
We now play Ballygarvan under lights in Ballygarvan on Tuesday 5th Nov at 19.30 in the final.
