Shamrocks 3-12, Tracton 0-13
Shamrocks played Tracton in the u14 hurling league in a beautiful evening in Shanbally last night. Both teams were still in contention to qualify for the semi final of the league and this win should be enough for us to qualify. Both teams started cautiously and were cancelling out each other’s points at both ends. Just before half time we got two quick fire goals and this was the main turning point of the game. We led on a scoreline of 2-08 to 0-09 at the half time whistle. Both teams kept at it to the end and another late Shamrocks goal sealed victory on the night. Both teams can take credit for a good entertaining game.
