Shamrocks 4-7, Lee Gaels 0-2
Shamrocks traveled to Dripsey to take on Lee Gaels in the semi final of the U14 hurling shield and came away comfortable winners. A difficult swirling wind made conditions difficult but it was Shamrocks who settled the faster in the first half. We soon found our range and got some nice scores from play. The damage was done just before half time when we scored 2-2 without reply. Lee Gaels to their credit battled away in the second half and restricted us to just 1-2 in that period.
