Shamrocks 6-13, Lee Gaels 0-1
Shamrocks travelled to a wet Kerry Pike on Wednesday evening last. Shamrocks made prior arrangements with the home side to play 15-a-side on full pitch and goals. This was a first for a number of our lads but they coped admirably. Shamrocks started well and put a number of scores on the board which took the pressure off. A handy lead at half time allowed them to make a number of positional switches for the second half.
Shamrocks were completely dominant in the 2nd half and scored at will. In fairness and to their credit, Lee Gaels did not lie down and continued to give Shamrocks a good game.
