Mayfield 4-16, Shamrocks 0-3
Shamrocks played Mayfield in Shanbally in the U14 hurling championship last Friday evening. They fielded a very under strength side due to holiday season. Mayfield proved too strong for us and Shamrocks were left chasing shadows at times throughout the game. The club would like to acknowledge the effort and commitment of all the players who never gave up, especially our U12 players who helped to field a team. We also would like to pay a special thank you to the parents who brought their children back from their holidays so we could field.
