Shamrocks U10s got there football season underway in Camden this evening. Playing against a stiff breeze in the first half Shamrocks started the better of the two teams playing some very good direct football. With a comfortable lead built up it the bench was emptied early allowing the younger players, just up from U8 to play in their first structured game. Crosshaven came back strong in the second half taking the lead 2-4 to 2-3. However Shamrocks turned it up a notch kicking 5 unanswered points to finish off the game in style, winning on a scorleine of 2-9 to 2-4.
