The Shamrock’s under 10’s put in a superb performance to secure a comprehensive victory over the under 10 footballers of St Nicks on Saturday 16/09/2017.
On the famous Glen Rovers pitch on the north side of the city our lads lined out for a 12 o clock throw in. From the start the Shamrock’s were the team on top and moved the ball with speed and purpose and converted some excellent scores. Every player from the goal keeper right through to the lads in the full forward line played outstanding football in this match. Any neutral observer watching from the sideline would have said that the team in green looked like they really loved their football. There was a hunger from our lads to be first to every ball,lay the pass off to a team mate and keep the ball moving, and because of this the scores kept coming.
There are days at under 10 level when everything seems to click and the lads look like they could beat any team, this was one of those days. Well done to all those involved today.
