Tracton 4-10, Shamrocks 2-6
This replay took place in Ballygarvan under lights and on Wednesday night. Tracton fielded a much stronger team for this replay and got to work early in the game and set up a comfortable lead which they never yielded. Shamrocks, despite being short a few regulars battled bravely and cannot be faulted for honest endeavour. At the break Tracton led 2 -7 to 1-3.
Up front David O’Sullivan and Cillian Hayes showed much promise and had they got better service in the opening half, then matters could have been different. Veteran Stephen Keane has to admired for a huge effort. Well done to all the lads, they all gave of their best.
