Shamrocks 6-9, Crosshaven 2-4
Shamrocks kept their unbeaten run going with a good win over Crosshaven in Camden on Tuesday evening. The lads have been steadily improving over the past few weeks and this win keeps them firmly in the frame to qualify for the hurling playoffs.
Shamrocks led 4-5 to 0-3 at HT, the back were getting good ball into the forwards who were raking up the important scores with the slight breeze. They did the majority of their scoring in the middle of teh half and had a nice cushion to work with at HT.
The second half was much more even and the play was open and enjoyable. Shamrocks did just enough to keep Crosshaven at bay and continue on their unbeaten run this season. All 16 players who togged made valuable contributions to the win.
