Shamrocks 1-20, Belgooly 0-4
Shamrocks were easy winners of this first round contest played in Camden. From the off the scores came easily and regularly and Shamrocks led 1-11 to 0-0 at the break. Belgooly were not a full strength and there was never any doubt about the final outcome. One damper on the game was a serious hamstring injury suffered by our outstanding centre back Chris O’Neill. We wish him a speedy recovery.
