Kinsale 4-07. Shamrocks 4-03
This was a game of two conflicting half’s dominated by the very strong wind. Shamrocks played with the wind in the first half and scored 4-03 after playing some lovely football. We had a panel of sixteen players and each one got a lot of valuable playing time. Our backs were to the wall in the second half and Kinsale with the aid of the wind came slowly back in to the game. It was a draw entering the final two minutes but we conceded 1-01 to leave Kinsale the winners. This was our first defeat of the season at this level. Thanks to the players and parents who travelled in great numbers again.
