Club Ciarán 2016

Club Ciarán got off to a great start on Monday morning where, despite the drizzle, everyone was enthusiastic and ready for action . We had 90 boys and girls this year which is an excellent turnout and is very managable. We had 15 coaches and helpers, many from our u21 and minor teams who have been coached up to the required level. We also had Clara O’Grady and Aisling to help out from the Girls side.Club Coaching Officer Pa Andrews was in charge of coordinating all the coaches and overseeing all the action on the field. Everything so far has gone smoothly and the sausages and sandwiches provided at break time for the coaches didnt last too long! Thanks to Deirdre for doing the kitchen all morning.

The two John Twomeys were on duty and they have put in a massive shift along with Deirdre Twomey who really have done all the donkey work behind the scenes over the past 2 weeks getting everyone organised. Kieran Lynam was on helmet and hurley duty and Donal Turner and John Jordan were on equipment duty.

The Club will continue for the week and we hope that the FUN continues.
