The Shamrocks under 10’s played their first football blitz of the season in Ballygarvan on Saturday 28th May. We had a good turnout with 12 players in attendance. The lads gave a great account of themselves in all three games against Crosshaven, Sliabh Rua and Cobh with fine display of blocking, passing and tackling on show.
The panel for the day included Harry O’Leary, Euan Clarke, Sam Foy, Barry O’Mahony, Cathal O’Donovan, Charlie Nyhan, Cormac Brady, Kieran May, Matthew Nyhan, Calum Gregson, Cian Lynch and Evan Twomey. A big thank you to the parents and older siblings who turned out in force to support the team. Also a mention to Andrew O’Grady and Mark Hitchmough from the Shamrocks under 21 panel who gave up their morning to help with mentoring and refereeing.
