They say, all good things come to an end and perhaps this is the perfect cliche in describing our Hurling Week for the year 2015.
It was surely a good week and the levels of satisfaction and fulfilment could be easily seen on the faces of the boys and girls who participated. Their parents and guardians shared that phenomenom too and remarks overheard went like this – ‘a pity there isn’t a second week – the coaches were brilliant – I’m a better hurler now – I have made new friends – we can’t wait for next year to come”
All the hard work and preparations carried out by the organisers bore fruit and ensured a pleasant and memorable week for all who took part. A special word of thanks again to Donal Turner and John Jordan who were first on site each morning and last out long after finishing time. Deirdre ably assisted by Charlotte kept the busy kitchen going and all visitors were well fed and watered.
The Shamrock Club can reflect with great pride and satisfaction on a wonderful week of hurling at CLUB CIARÁN.
