Castlelyons 4-7, Shamrocks 4-6
Castlelyons came to Shanbally on Monday night and took the spoils by the smallest of margins. This was a great game played out by fantastic teams and went all the way to the wire.
Castlelyons had the better of the first half but Shamrocks came thundering back in the second after some great words of encouragement from managers Stephen Keane and Seamus O’Flynn. However, time ran out in the end after a great team effort.
This team are having a great season and we are delighted to welcome our newest player John Coleman on board who is proving a real asst. This is a very level league and anybody can beat anyone. Shamrocks are right in the mix and wont be far away by the end. Their only 2 defeats have been by 1 point each.
Hurling next at home to Laochra Óg (a new combination of 4 clubs from the Macroom area) this Saturday at 2pm.
