Death of Club Vice President Breda Andrews

Breda Andrews, Lady Vice-president of our Club was called to her eternal reward on Saturday night last after bravely fighting illness with courage and dignity. May she rest in heavenly peace.
Surley, this lady who was the heart and soul of Ringaskiddy village over a lifetime will be sadly missed and mourned by the countless people locally and further afield who befriended or worked with her in so many of her voluntary engagements.
She championed volunteerism and generosity in giving which without doubt manifested the wonderful Christian lady that she was.

Breda was a matriarchal lady whose great energy and gifts were always at the disposal of others, especially those who needed them most. There were so many beneficiaries including Shamrocks, The Community Hall, ICA, The Annual Youth Festivals hosted and organised by Donal O’Connor, and many others whom only Breda knew.
One of the great corner stones and flag bearers of our Community is now gone from us  She loved her own place and took great pride in its life and achievements. She has set the stage for others to step on.

With heavy hearts and sadness we all mourn her passing. Life, without Breda, will never be the same.
Our sympathies are extended to husband Bernie and her devoted family and grandchildren. Ní bheidh a leithead ann arís agus ar dheis Dé go raibh a hAnam dílis.
