Underage AGM – 20/11

Shamrocks underage held their AGM before a bigger than normal crowd in the Grace McCarthy rooms last Thursday. They heard comprehensive reports from the outgoing chairman John Twomey (Ringaskiddy) and Secretary Patrick Andrews. It was an extremely successful year, one of our best ever, particularly from the Minor and U16 combinations. Garrett Flynn in his role as Physical Trainer was also thanked. Both men thanked all the players, mentors, coaches, parents and supporters for their work during the year.

The Adult Executive were represented by Vice Chairman Kieran Lynam and Treasurer John Twomey (Shanbally). John spoke on behalf of the Adult Executive. He praised all the great work being done at underage. Paddy Andrews was thanked as Board delegate and also the sponsors. Paddy as Treasurer presented his comprehensive Treasurers report.

The Officers were then elected for 2015. All officers were returned with one change. A Secretary was still being spoken to as to their role. The outgoing Secretary Patrick Andrews was elected as the Clubs first ever Coaching Officer. Other positions filled were those of board delegates, childrens officer and childrens delegate. A list of team manager and mentors were read out. There were still a few positions to be filled but as the season doesn’t start until March next year, the club have time to get that rectified.

After any other business, the meeting concluded.
