Shamrocks 7-12, Lisgoold 1-3
Shamrocks are into the quarter finals of the u16 football championship after this very comfortable win over Lisgoold on Monday night. Some of these Lisgoold players must be sick of the sight of the Shamrocks jersey at this stage as this was their second loss in championship to the greens in 3 days. There is not much to report except to say that Shamrocks completely dominated the game from start to finish. Adam O’Keeffe top scored with 2-4.
Shamrocks move on to play Dripsey on a date as yet unknown, such is the volume of games that some of the players have yet to play in different competitions. In the meantime, they can now concentrate on the County Hurling Final on Friday night.
