Shamrocks 4-12, Ballinhassig 2-7
A good win for the Shamrocks side in the Tournament organised by Passage GAA. The lads played Passage last week and one could see the benefit of that game in them in this game. They played some lovely hurling at times and this was a much better team performance from the week before.
Ballinhassig were short a few on the night hut this shouldnt take from Shamrocks display. They led 2-9 to 1-6 at HT and pressed on in the second half. All players played their part on the night in a game that was expertly refereed by Pat O’Neill. Shamrocks added further goals in the second half.
Training continues every Tuesday at 6pm and the next game in the tournament is at home to Crosshaven next weekend sometime.
