Shamrocks 6-13, Crosshaven 0-4
Shamrocks minor footballers had a very comfortable win over the hosts in Crosshaven on Sunday afternoon last.
Apart from the first 5 minutes when Shamrocks took some time to find their feet after a long football lay off, this was mostly one way traffic and there isnt much to report really. Shamrocks led 3-9 to 0-1 at the break, Crosshaven did make more of a game of it in the second half but never even remotely threathened a comeback.
The goal scorers were Andrew O’Grady, Seán Kidney, Tom Murphy, Adam O’Keeffe (2) and Matt Field while Aonghus Boland, Mark Hitchmough and Coby O’Grady along with the aforementioned players did most of the point scoring.
Training continues this Tuesday.
