Shamrocks held an U8 hurling Blitz on Saturday afternoon last in the NMCI Ringaskiddy for all our young players who take part in our weekly Academy, both indoor and outdoor.
This was a fun and and enjoyable event where each and every player got 6 matches, refreshmensts and a medal afterwards for competiting. Once the first ball was thrown in until the last puck almost 2 hours later, every player had given their all and went home happy.
Our thanks to all the players who participated and to their parents for their comtinued support. Also to John Twomey (Ringaskiddy), John Jordan, Deirdre Twomey and the girls out front, Pa Andrews, Seamus O’Flynn and Shane O’Donovan for running and organising the 2 hour event.
It was such a success, that we hope to run a football one before the end of March, probably on a Friday night. Further details to follow on that.
