Tracton 2-5, Shamrocks 2-5
Shamrocks and Tracton played out an exciting draw on Wednesday night in Shanbally.
It was a very closely fought game with Shamrocks securing a draw with a last minute goal.
Again, our basic skills were exposed as our blocking, hooking, catching, lifting were inferior to the oppositions.
However, we didn’t lack for spirit and through hard work by all, we got our deserved draw in the end. We had 15 togged out on the night and all played.
Squad – Sean Andrews, Mark Sisk, Josh Bartlett, Fionn Herlihy, Adam Mc Sweeney, Harry Andrews, Aidan Brady, Cian O’Flaherty, Eoin O’Flynn, Cian James, Derry Howard, Ferdia Hayes, Jack O’Leary, Robert Barrett, Adam Maye.
Cian James and Jack O’Leary picked up nasty injuries during the game but both were fine later.
Again parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters etc turned out in great numbers to support us and for this we are extremely grateful. Thanks to Tracton also for turning up in big numbers.
We will now join with u12 panel for training on Wednesday nights for the month of September – a text will be sent to all concerned.
