Whitescross 7-8, Shamrocks 4-6
With a depleted team due to holidays etc. our very committed team of 12 really showed what can be done with determination & effort.
The scoreline doesn’t reflect what the lads put in to tonight’s game. We played uphill in the first half and when we got our chances we took 2 great goals, which left is with a good hope for the second half being only 4 points down.
At midway through the second half we were level but weariness took over & Whitescross were able to regroup & got the scores to win the game.
Thanks to all the players for a great effort in the league & championship and have a great summer, see you all again in September .
