Shamrocks entered a team in Whitechurch in what was our second hurling blitz at this level this year.
They are proving to very successful for the Shamrocks lads and the old chesnut of not getting enough games for our young players, in particular in hurling, is certainly being addressed in 2013.
Shamrocks played Nemo Rangers, Mayfield and the hosts Whitechurch and once again, while stressing that scores are not officially kept, its pleasing to note once again that Shamrocks won all 3 games.
Managers Seamus O’Flynn and Shane O’Donovan and all the parents and players (who all played well it must be said) who travelled up to Whitechurch for a 10am start are to be complimented. Well done to all.
